Child Safety Standards
These standards apply to Tribe - Jewish Dating App (by Tribe Jewish
Dating) on all platforms. Tribe has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
(CSAE) in any form.
Adults only
- Tribe is exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. Users must provide their date of birth at sign-up, and accounts indicating an age under 18 cannot be created.
- Every account's profile photos are reviewed by a human before the account is approved. Any account that appears to belong to a minor is suspended and investigated.
Prohibited content and behavior
- Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors is strictly prohibited and results in immediate account termination.
- Attempting to solicit, groom, or arrange contact with a minor through Tribe is prohibited and will be reported to law enforcement.
In-app reporting
- Every profile and conversation in Tribe can be reported directly in the app (Report option on profiles and in chats). Users can also block any user, including everyone in their phone contacts.
- Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and profile photos go through human review before accounts are approved.
How we respond
- We act on CSAE reports as a first priority: offending accounts are removed, evidence is preserved, and reports are escalated to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant law enforcement as required by law.
- We comply with applicable child safety laws in the regions where Tribe operates and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
